We connect Black women and women of color to culturally competent and sensitive healthcare providers.Health In Her HUE is a digital platform that connects Black women and women of color to culturally competent and sensitive healthcare providers, and offers health information and content that centers their lived experiences.We are reducing racial health disparities by leveraging the power of technology, media and community to improve health outcomes for Black women and women of color.We do this by bringing awareness to health and wellness issues in a relevant, engaging and accessible way. And we empower women of color, and their allies, to share, learn and innovate around the health issues that disproportionately affect them.

Why Health in Her HUE?
Health In Her HUE is the first touchpoint for Black women and women of color to be informed and empowered when making choices pertaining to their health.
It's a safe space for Black womenDespite the gross racial disparities in health, which indicate that Black women are plagued by disproportionately higher incidence and mortality rates for various diseases, spaces dedicated to the improvement of their health and wellness are few and far between.
Make informed health choices and feel empoweredHealth In Her HUE is a space for Black women to be informed and empowered when making choices pertaining to their health. And we're using technology, community and media to do this!
No Racism and SexismThe stress of anti-Black racism and sexism takes a toll on Black women's health irrespective of their socioeconomic status.
We understand all unique experiencesBlack women need healthcare providers who are trained and committed to Hearing and Understanding their unique Experiences.

Ashlee WisdomMPH, Founder & CEO
Ashlee Wisdom is a public health innovator committed to achieving a more equitable healthcare ecosystem where all people can access the quality care they need and deserve. Wisdom received her BS from Howard University, and her Master of Public Health from New York University. She was named a 2021 Top 50 in digital health by Rock Health for her health equity advocacy.
